Hi!
I'm Margot, a creative director and brand strategist with over a decade of experience leading teams and building brands that actually work.

My path started with a BFA in Graphic Design (with honors) from the University of Wyoming, followed by managing a sign shop in my hometown of Laramie. I loved working directly with local businesses and seeing my branding work out in the wild. After a couple of years, I headed to Denver to expand my skills at a B2B advertising agency, then spent four years at Craftsy (NBCUniversal) where I managed a design team creating email campaigns across eight brand verticals.

I've worked across the board when it comes to visual design and marketing—from coding responsive emails and art directing photo shoots to building full brand systems and leading marketing strategy at a billion-dollar company. I balance creative ambition with performance goals and manage client relationships..

I've been freelancing and contracting with companies from enterprise software (CVENT) to regional hospitality groups (Opal's Table) to industrial firms. I co-own Good Water, a local reverse osmosis company, where I built the brand from scratch. I've won multiple industry awards, including BMA Colorado Gold Key and Visual Arts Communicator distinctions, but honestly, I'm most proud of the work itself—design that clarifies, connects, and drives results.

I thrive in collaborative environments where I can challenge creative thinking, mentor teams, and solve real business problems. Whether that's leading a creative department or partnering directly with ambitious clients, I'm focused on work that makes an impact.

Currently, I'm based in Midland, Texas, working with select clients while exploring creative leadership opportunities at companies that value both strategy and craft.

Outside the studio? I'm writing about travel on my blog Seat1A, entertaining two toddlers between mahjong rounds, and plotting my next home renovation project.

Drop a line.
